The Book Fair will be arriving in Scoil Mhuire today. Hopefully it will be here early to allow all classes to have a peek at the books available this year. Pupils will visit the Book Fair with their class mates and teacher and may purchase books on Friday 12th, Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th May.
A school receives a commission from Scholastic after the Book Fair, based on sales, and we use this to add to our school libraries, novel collection and Accelerated Reader library. Please encourage your child to buy a book this week - it will benefit their reading, and give them a sense of responsibility and ownership of the book which they chose and purchased themselves.
