Mr Moran and Mr Ryan took to the stage this morning to perform the 'Cha Cha Slide' for Triathlon Thursday. You could hear a pin drop as the children followed the dance, step by step, slide by slide!
After lunch, the children assembled in their class groups before dispersing into their teams: Alligators, Bears, Cheetahs, Donkeys, Elephants, Flamingos, Gorillas, Hippos, Iguanas, Jaguars, Kangaroos and Lions. Each team was made up of children from all classes. The triathlon involved a relay race, an under-leg relay race and a water race. Tensions were high as the teams raced to fill their bucket. Thanks to the Active School Committee who showed how to undertake the under-leg relay race. The children really enjoyed participating in Triathlon Thursday.
