Scoil Mhuire were very busy this term as the senior boys and girls competed in the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol U13 football championships.
The U13 girls travelled to Drombane to face Upperchurch NS and Two Mile Borris NS. Despite having played very well, the girls had to settle for second best on the day.
The U13 boys had mixed fortunes as they lost their first two games but had a fine victory in their last game. The boys gave it their best and improved steadily throughout the group stages.
The upcoming school football league will no doubt provide us with some thrilling encounters as Tipperary, Mayo, Kerry and Dublin face each other.
