Pupils in Seomra 5 studied the work of Irish artist Peter Donnelly and particularly our piece Justice and the Right to be Heard. This art work was on loan to the school from the Glucksman Gallery in UCC Cork as part of our Creative Schools programme. Pupils enjoyed looking and responding to the piece & talking about the shapes, colours and characters. They suggested ways to add their own touch by changing the setting, the colours, the main character etc and created their very own masterpieces. They did a truly amazing job and we have proudly displayed our work in the corridor outside our classroom. Maith sibh gach duine.
