We thoroughly enjoyed our Autumn Aistear during October and learned about all the changes that take place during this season. We went on an 'Autumn Walk' in our school grounds and gathered lots of leaves and seeds to explore during play. We also checked on how our pumpkins were doing that Senior Infants planted last summer. We explored leaf rubbings, making sheds for the farm animals, crepe paper squirrels and playdough hedgehogs. Our favourite story for this topic was 'The Squirrels who Squabbled' by Rachel Bright
