Well done to sisters Abbie and Clara Bourke on being selected as Knockavilla National School joint finalists in this years Lions Club Peace Poster competition. The girls attended the local final in Cashel Library last Friday with their family. Congratulations to Abbie on being selected overall winner from this region. Her winning entry will now go forward to the next stage of the competition and we wish her well. It was a lovely event and a proud moment for Abbie, Clara and their family. We are delighted for Abbie and it is so wonderful to see her talent being acknowledged at this level.
