We have been having great fun so far in Junior Infants, engaging in playful learning experiences with our friends. We have explored the themes of 'Myself', 'My Family' and 'Autumn' and explored different play stations under each theme. These include Small World, Play Dough, Construction, Creative and Role Play stations and we really look forward to discovering which station our group will be at for playtime each day. Through play the children are developing social skills such as turn-taking, developing oral language skills, encouraged to think creatively and of course have lots of fun! Have a look at some of the activities we have enjoyed.
We have also enjoyed listening to lots of stories, reciting rhymes and engaging in sorting activities in Maths lessons.
