It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Fr Jim Egan on Saturday January 17th. Fr Egan was an integral part of our school community for so many years - visiting our pupils, celebrating mass at our school and leading us in the sacraments of Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation. Fr Egan brought a smile and fun every time he visited, while deepening and enhancing the faith of our pupils with every word and prayer.
We were honoured to celebrate Fr Jim’s Golden Jubilee at a special mass in the school hall in June 2023, when he planted a tree in our school grounds. This tree will serve as a constant reminder of Fr Jim’s impact on our school and it’s pupils for years to come.
We will miss his smile and remember him fondly.
