On Friday 17th September, we took part in a storytelling and draw along workshop as Gaeilge presented by Laureate na nÓg Áine Ní Ghlinn with special guest illustrator Tarsila Krüse. Áine’s mother, Mrs Glynn, was a teacher in Knockavilla. This wonderful online event was presented by The Arts Council in partnership with Children’s Books Ireland. Junior Infants had great fun taking part and drawing robots while listening to Áine read her lovely story as Gaeilge called ‘Boscadán’.
