On Friday, Mr Moran, Ms Ryan and Ms McCarthy’s classes came together to celebrate World Book Day with an exciting outdoor activity around the school grounds. Working in their assigned groups, the children used their orienteering and mapping skills to navigate the school surroundings and locate clues that matched the numbers on an aerial map of the school. At each location, the children read a clue to identify a well-known book character. The activity combined reading with teamwork and problem-solving, and it proved to be an extremely enjoyable way to celebrate World Book Day for everyone involved. 📚🧭
